Jess is a Nurse Practitioner based in rural Virginia with over a decade of family medicine experience. Vitality Care was created to redefine healthcare access for adults who want to feel and function better.

She earned her BSN at James Madison University and her MSN at Old Dominion University. Her care centers on total body wellness, not just treating symptoms when they appear.

What is membership Direct Primary Care?

DPC is a membership model where patients pay their provider directly through a flat monthly fee instead of routing included provider visits through insurance. It covers only the services included in the membership agreement.

Is Direct Primary Care considered health insurance?

No. Direct Primary Care is NOT health insurance. It is a membership arrangement where patients pay a recurring fee for access to defined primary care services. Members should keep insurance for emergencies, hospital care, surgeries, and services outside the membership.

Do you see pediatrics?

No. Pediatric-specific growth tracking, vaccine management, developmental screening, acute health concerns, and school forms are best suited for hands-on examination by a pediatric or family medicine clinic.

Can I come to your clinic to be seen?

No. Vitality Care is a telemedicine-only clinic. You must be physically located in Virginia at the time of your telemedicine visit.

What states do you serve?

Virginia only. Vitality Care serves adults 18+ who are physically present in Virginia during telemedicine visits.

If labs are needed, where do I go?

Depending on your location, laboratory sites can be found by ZIP code. Vitality Care can help arrange those locations and, in many instances, can provide direct lab testing in your own home.

Are labs and imaging covered by the membership?

No. Labs and imaging are not covered in DPC and will be an additional charge in most circumstances. Patients may personally submit claims to their insurance for reimbursement if they desire.

Do you prescribe weight loss medication?

Yes, when clinically appropriate. GLP-1 and dual GIP medications can be prescribed to complement obesity management as part of an individualized care plan.

Do you prescribe peptides, hormones, and supplements?

Yes and no. Most advertised peptides are not yet FDA approved, but some peptides are approved and available through accredited compounding pharmacies. Select evidence-based supplements are available for individual purchase without a prescription. Hormone therapy may be considered after consultation and laboratory testing. Vitality Care is dedicated to individualized treatment plans under shared decision making.

What is anti-aging and longevity treatment?

Anti-aging and longevity are broad terms for interventions intended to support healthy aging. They are not age reversal. These services can include hormone optimization, metabolic medications, select supplements, labs and biomarker tracking, skin care, lifestyle coaching, stress management, smoking and alcohol reduction, sleep management, wellness, preventive care, and cancer screening guidance. Recommendations are individualized under shared decision making and evidence-based practices.

What if I have an emergency?

Emergencies require in-person evaluation. Call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room. Vitality Care recommends keeping health insurance for emergencies, hospitalizations, surgeries, and care outside the membership.

How do I cancel my membership?

Membership is month-to-month. Cancellation details are governed by the Membership Agreement Terms and Consents.
